With nothing to tempt Michael to visit or stay in Townsville, he opted to set up camp at the quiet and picturesque Toomulla beach, about 50km to the north. The rain had thankfully stopped by then and they were able to enjoy some much anticipated sunshine.
Their days were spent taking leisurely walks along the tropical beach, chasing the wild turkeys and catching up on school work!
